Looking back on 2015 in travel, we have seen growth in many regions of the world and are privileged to play a role in partnering with great travel brands worldwide to continue to drive that growth.

For many, the holidays can be about hope and perspective, and with that we want to acknowledge some of the challenges many places around the globe have also faced this year. Like the holidays, travel also inspires hope and perspective by immersing people in unique experiences. We are fortunate to be able to help partners tell inspiring stories about their travel brands, to communicate the power of travel and remind travelers of that hope.

Through those partnerships this year we have had numerous campaigns recognized with awards in the travel and digital advertising industry. These accolades range from the best use of social media to best travel email campaign to best hospitality/hotel campaign and more. We also recently recognized seven of our North America and South America partners in our annual travel marketing award program at the Expedia, Inc. Partner Conference.

We look forward to continuing to partner with digital marketers to engage travelers across our platform in creative and innovative ways in 2016.

As global senior vice president of Expedia Media Solutions, Noah Tratt oversees all facets of the business including product development and execution, engineering, operations, media sales and business development for the Expedia, Inc. brands. Noah has overseen thousands of digital marketing partner initiatives and has significantly grown the Expedia Media Solutions business over the past several years. With more than two decades of marketing and sales experience, Noah has worked at Microsoft and Xylo, and launched Daily Rocket, a tech startup acquired by Fiserv. He joined Expedia, Inc. in 2002 to lead the car rental business, and later served as vice president of supplier strategy for Expedia Corporate Travel. Noah currently is an officer of the U.S. Travel Association, serving as secretary, and is also a member of the editorial board for the Journal of Digital and Social Media Marketing. He has been recognized as one of HSMAI’s Top 25 Most Extraordinary Minds in Sales and Marketing, and was inducted into the ClickZ Digital Marketing Hall of Fame. Noah is a graduate of Brown University, and lives with his family in Seattle.
